one health issue - tumbling...

I'm sorry readers...

Of my 3 main health issues, the one with no mainstream medical help, started tumbling mid-week.

I usually manage it quite well, under the "self" medication, but now it seems "not as well as I thought"

I'll be reading blogs, but commenting not so much.

I'll no doubt come back, just need to "pull my head" as they say...

Catherine!
no.
tumbling is not allowed.
you are loved. and needed. Hang this wretched virus.
Hang everything.
rest. and revive. and no worries. XOXOXO tam
it's only been a few days of "taking care of me/life" and I'm beginning to see some light...certainly less tumbling.

thanks everyone for your kind wishes and thoughts...

I have been either revamping or making some small pieces...

posted some pictures over my other blog...your turn tomorrow as I've got the cover vaguely sorted for the new art notebook about "wood"

Finally on the food supplies front, I knew I had an issue with the "helpers" who bless their hearts are pretty busy with their own family/needs so I've found an online "food box" system which won't arrive for a few days but it looks like a bit of a better deal...more fresh rather than small meals ...

I hope you have had a Happy Easter...
Rose: Happy Easter to you as well... A different kind of Easter, but in a way quite happy - once I have finally realised that I have spend time creating food! But today Easter Monday, I'd got all set up for over a week for edibles. so getting back to "making art" again...working on a little art-book of flowers...

Good Morning from "Sheltering in Place" in the USA. Thanks so very much for the comments on my blog, especially the ones with regards to my giant painting. It is nice to know that a "maker" with proper academic credentials thought my integration of the wallpaper into the background was so successful. As for the terms artist/artisan/maker, I agree with you that "artisan" is problematic. Generally it is used to describe someone who created work in a production-mode for sales opportunities. Thus, I don't particularly like it either. For me, "maker" is almost too broad. It could easily include people who rely on their engineering skills to make things that "work", as in those really cool vehicles made from junkyard parts or all those kinetic art objects. So, for me, I had to really work (mostly mentally and emotionally) to honestly claim the work ARTIST. It took a long time because I am filled with doubts in my abilities. So thank you for being supportive. It means a lot! Susan
