Messing around with new "paper"
It was on another blog, that an artist had used a type of paper and some alcohol inks that created some interesting effects AND I thought I would love to do that BUT I don't have that specialised type of paper
I do now!
I have a pad of Yupo paper 100% Hi-Tech...
And because of some restrictions at present in my laundry/paint room - I did only one sheet. It actually might not be exactly right and this one isn't dry, I think I added some more ink AND I know I blotted it at some point. But here it is:

And then I thought, "I've got something a bit like this already...with a semi shiny side...I wonder" So I went away and got some of the comic backing board AND yes it has potential as well. I had to blot it rather thoroughly though, so it looks a bit wishy washy. But it also is doable...
Take no notice of that yellow part at R, that's just a ground sheet due to the fact that I'm not supposed to be doing this here, right now...Plus if my set was different I probably could've just tipped the excess off the board!
Yes I went out much further, i.e. the City
But it possibly that I should have just gone to the Art Store and then come home, as I kind of over did the outing; as well as forgetting to eat enough whilst out and about...
I think I need to truly start "finishing" a few pieces
I have in mind for these and some other newer pieces
By The Way
My art store friendly assistant took a different viewpoint of this:
Me and others saw it first as
Juicy Pear (pears for the focus of the kit)
then
Sandy Isthmus (sideways)
but our assistant saw it as:
Naked lady behind some greenery!

I would say it took some creativity and some imagination to see a naked lady behind greenery :)
Ann: You should look it up, more manufacturers finding the regular art market now it seems. "Abstraction" at it's best in "naked"
I love the new ink papers you did. just beautiful!
LOL on the guy and naked ladies, as well. Will show you soon,
