Collage: First Mountains, Queenstown

I thought it needed some beads,
But I realised when I got home, it had lightness

Inspired by this photo

The inspiration photo is beautiful and the collage is fantastic
thanks, I'm finding that simple is most effective (well in this case)

I love simple and effective too. And I'm glad you had a great trip, but i'm glad you're back. I'm impressed by how adventuresome you are!
thanks CM - one of my friends dropped by yesterday - and she still seems astounded I managed to do all the things, needed during the month. Now that I'm home, I can't seem to motivate myself to go off "ambling around in my own city"... however, I have been creating the collages - I've another few in the melting pot; I wanted to create the "fish" but it needs to be a dry day (and today wasn't) as I need to glue a lot of things down...

you have a wonderful eye. and doing them too while it's all still fresh?
that has to be helpful. are you planning your next adventure in your mind?
actually this one was kind of an UNplanned adventure! that's what made it so amazing. :)
one of the hardest to create, will be a stream in the bush with lush green mossy covered rocks...I've not picture but in a way that is good, as I can create it to my taste AND no one will know if ...

yes it was UNplanned adventure as you are aware.

the friend who came by the other day said, "why didn't you do more in the North" to which I said the "plan" was just the Sth, that actually I had planned to fly back from the first destination but the UNplan took me elsewhere...

in some ways "yes on next adventure in NZ" but because I went food shopping (online) cannot just go :-) - had planned maybe to whisk away on a short break before mid May...still doable but must get on with eating things!!

plus due to the fact, I listened to others on what to take...there are number of things particularly clothing wise - that were basically useless, but that also means must buy - a few other things...things that would be useful all the time.
