I'm keeping "makers name" for the time being.

Can you see the cellophane going around the card/envelope

the back join has a small sticker to hold it...

Not sure if it's terribly good idea for say in a shop but it's best I can do that doesn't "subtract" the front of the card
I tried butter paper is is similar to tracing paper, but then couldn't see all the front art...

(yes lower R is from a different time making...)

I have a whole lot of those little stickers, came with some op-shop purchase, kind of fun. I do have other stickers that you could say put the price on, but for now, this is the "closure"

This is a good idea. When I was doing craft shows and selling my cards I purchased some cellophane bags on Amazon.

I like the looks of that.
and it will keep them clean if people browsed through them in a shop.
this could be very fun for you! endless possibilities!
and I confess... I'm kinda glad you're keeping 'the maker' name. :D
Ann: I've now found another way to seal the bags at home...and will be trying that real soon. Buying from Amazon with freight to NZ is not really an option; often the freight is more than the actual goods! But yes I could go down the bag avenue, it's just that I've not got "one size for all"

tammy: thanks for coming by...guess you are surrounded by a few boxes, but hoping you'll be settled in the Hermitage real soon.

I think this adds to their appeal...makes them seem as special as they are.
