Making Art cards...
when I made that card yesterday, it was so much fun. But I knew I had to be a bit more organised so I could make them a little faster, so I spent a bit of time making sure whatever card I was going to create, was ready to receive "mat" object. Of course, that didn't go to plan but I've had a pleasant morning playing around...
Here are some of the results:
L: my idea of a simple collage with some of my own created artwork R: layers of mainly commercial papers on a flip up card
Another collage, again a flip up card - sweetness methinks!
The new alcohol inks on various specialised paper. Smudging some of the original card for fun
L: layers of my own paint jobs, with additional marks R: more of my original art works - this card of my own making. Has a buff addition inside to write your message on.
All cards are blank inside, and all come with envelope

I love the results, but I love your spirit of playing, having fun, and enjoying the process even more. Yay, Catherine! That's the way to live.
By the end of a play about, there seems to be more "bits of paper" than when I started...and I think "how did that happen..." :-)
It all seems relatively normal, playing around at home with glue and stuff...and yes I did do the "dusting of ledges" for tomorrow's inspection. Then picked up some of the larger more dominant pieces of fluff off the floor...
they took me places. they actually did!
hahaha. maybe I've been in too long.
but the beautiful floral one … oh my. like a garden in early morning.
and the ones after it. don't laugh... but I thought of Paris!
and the cabarets and bistros of the deep burgundy color and scandalous pre war years!
nothing apparently wrong with my imagination! LOL!
great work Catherine. xoxo
tammy j: that's fabulous - I'm sure you thought this bad water on my chest will send my imagination away - but it hasn't, congrats on that. Now I'm pleased the little "pictures" took you to some other place...I know when life sends me a bad vibe, I think of places that always look good in photos - if I'm cold, I'll be in Bali on the beach, if I'm feverish, I'll be up there with Santa and his elves in the arctic...
From time to time, I have sales or I gift things away. But on average, I have enough of all sorts to have a "gallery" of my own! I take finished objects out from time to time and arrange them here; then I have an overhaul and I put them back into whatever I have for such items.
I'm considering, since I rejoined a gallery in the West, seeing if they will have them in their attached mini shop...
But for now, I can't quite do that - my mind/body is still adjusting to this "new normal" that is evolving here. I find it a bit silly that I just can't "jump to it" scenario.
Yes the plan is to sell them. I just worked out how to present them this morning, but I'm not sure if the "packaging" would show up well on a photograph. Although on saying that the "connector on the back would, some oddball stickers I have"
But because I'm not "evolving all that well with the new normal of Level 1" I'm just unable to get out there. I rejoined a semi-local gallery and they have a small attached shop space. Which I think would be a good start... And maybe Doris in Newmarket might be interested, she has a book shop.
As for doing it online, I would still need to have my mind/body on getting out to "post/send them"...
