Mend it Monday on I think Tuesday (NZ time)

With all the toing and froing of the last few days forgot that this occurs on another blog
https://thesnailofhappiness.com/2020/03/23/mend-it-monday-6/

There is only one hole, but had to just even up things, and then thought, I will add a few more leaves. The only leaf that isn't mine if the one at the top back (neck) under of one of mine. I think I will add more leaves, as the front looks "Lonely"

I like it. That's a fun way to mend a hole and get more wear out of a favorite garment
definitely a bit of fun...and this is nice warm Merino wool sweater which I bought in a sale a year or two back. It's actually mans' sweater and it was truly funny one winters day, I hadn't worn it to an event and there was a male friend with the exact sweater/colour on. My friend on the way home said "did you see S in that sweater?" "Yep, and I know exactly where he bought it!"

The reason I wear mens long sleeved shirts etc is because my arm length. I have extra long arms and you always know when I'm wearing womenswear - the cuff is always a few inches from wrist! Except I have one very old garment from decades ago (still wearable) when it was the fashion to have your sleeves go down over your hands and hang about...

Just to add another anatomy issue, I have rather short feet in relationship to my height!

I so love the way you did this...no one would ever guess it was mending. It looks like a design choice.
Rose: yes it's more fun to add more...I've done this before on another wool top. which might return to my wardrobe this winter (it's Autumn in New Zealand now) because I might get sick of wearing same old during lockdown...

love the leaves. and they're perfect for the time of year you're going into!
tammy: yes, they were left over elements I used as photographs in the Autumn Grunge book. I was expecting to use them on the cover of said book but as per usual I only added two the end of the knitted i-cord I made.
