stylish and imaginative and so special. and this delight coming from a dyed in the wool minimalist! LOL! but I can appreciate the beauty of it and the diligence in creating such a work of art. I love the fact that it's a useful creation!
a special secret book for all kinds of family memories and treasures. you should be proud. I wish you'd show us how you do the binding of the book. I can't imagine it! thank you for the wonderful pictures! XO
And although it's not quite minimalist it has leanings towards it - if you like "writing on paper" rather than say the real minimalist way "now" computer wordprocessing and saved documents...
I don't think I would like to show "how to bind" because there is a lot of "swearing".... I've looked at a couple of my fav uTubers, but I don't necessarily use one style in particular...However, the original way I learnt how to do this was from a local author who wrote a small book on how to make a notebook - I didn't buy the book, from library instead...but basically I follow the original authors' idea - because I'm I found it easier for me to do it her way....
Maybe I could show you "parts" but as I can't decide what next to make, maybe a while...I want to make someone a partial "paper sack" journal but then I also want to make xyz...
and I am not just saying this... but I don't see how you do any of it really.
I would never have that much patience! so when I say it's amazing...
it REALLY IS! to me anyway! xoxo
However, if this was my "job/business" then I would never get anywhere - like on a treadmill making all day long...fortunately I don't have to do that. So if something isn't going well, hand/brain wise, I can put it aside for another day...
Today, something happened with some "ink" . Now I wasn't even "inking" anything but on a card that I had printed something on/days ago and then when I was scoring/creasing it - I noted random black ink.
Ooops where did that come from...it was on the score/trimmer and on my fingers.
Cleaned everything up and then came back to score board - oops..."wat more"!
Finally tracked it down to something I printed a few days ago, have absolutely no idea why it didn't dry - the rest of the printing did...Anyway I set it in the sun; then got out a rag and gave it a really deep "scrub" and now it's okay...lost a bit of the print, but it looks like it will look good in a grunge book!
Then whoever gets it, adds more...
It's as you write "full of wonder..."
